MILKY WAY
The Sunshine Following the Rain - 11, 12
Celestial Rendezvous - 13 to 15
This story is central to showing Valkyries transition from hiding away to taking space again, as well as Mikas determination to save the unit and Shus processing of his pain post-war.

STARLIGHT FESTIVAL
Holy Knights - 12, 13
This story centers on knights, but valk is once again on thin ice and Nazuna jumps in not as a attempt to save their status, but also in order to test what Ra*bits is capable of. It's good.

PERFORMANCE
Act chapters: 4, 5, 12 & 13.
Shu and Nazuna are on the background of Performance, but their bickering here is suprisingly fun. Insightful in that Nazuna despite poking fun of Shu still shows he harbors deep respect for Shu's work.

FROZEN ICE
The first story that centers Mika and Nazunas relationship post-fallout. Details Mikas anguish having developed into bitterness, Nazunas regret making him keep a cautious distance and how despite each loving the other, each ends up causing hurt.

The origin story of both past valk and current valk. In the story, Nazuna retells from his perspective his experiences with Shu and Mika, from their status as a renowed unit to their spectacular fall.this story is now fully voiced! you can find it on enbasic

SUBSTORIES
The following substories listed are listed since they provide some important context about Ex-Valk post-Marionette but also before the events of Toy Box and forwards.
Puppet Sovereign depicts Shus first meeting with Ra*bits and his thoughts about Nazuna defecting. Song Of the Garbage Dump is essential to understand why Mika harbors such conflicted feelings about Nazuna. Unbroken Bond is the first glimpse into their tension post-fallout.

While the oldest story listed, it's probably more appropriate to read it a bit later. Dragon Fruit chronicles a scenario with Shu and Nazuna during their first year, and establishes their early dynamic.

TOY BOX
In this story, Shu and Mika stumbles upon Nazuna and Mitsuru while shopping. While still tense as Shu verbalizes his hurt, Toy Box is still significant in Nazuna showing support for Valkyrie very early on during their journey.

Is this really needed?
Misconceptions about the source material, the characters and their relationships is rife in enstars fandom. This also extends to the knowledge about exvalk, and the relationship changes between the members since then.
While Marionette is a well known basic era story, there's often the experience that there's much left to be desired about the understanding of what has happened since then. Their relationship hasn't been static - it's been changing for both better and for worse.We encourage you to read through these stories and make your own interpretation about them.
